Unhide folders

I have all my music on my ipod, and on windows i was able to show hidden folders, but i have no clue how to do it on mac, and any help would be appreciated. Also how to just make it unhidden would be great once i copy the folder to my computer

From terminal

 

sudo defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

 

Relaunch the finder and there you go. Same process to hide them again using FALSE at the end of the command.

easiest way

 

turn on your script on sidebar, then click on it > finder > and then hide or show all files (I write it from my memory his make have little different syntax)
