Name: Intel Pentium D 930 Specs: Intel® Pentium® D CPU 3.00Ghz Instructions: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, EM64T Core Speed: 3000Mhz Motherboard: ASUS P5VDC-MX Manufacturer: VIA/S3G Chip type: VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP Memory: 704mb VGA: NVidia geforce FX5500 Display Memory: 256.0 MB Sound: Realtek AC97 Audio i have successfully install it but after install and it won't boot the mac it just shows a blank black screen... candykane Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 Some times i have problems with installes that wount boot. has to do with that the partition is not set to active. usaly i just pop in a xp cd and make a partion using the in staller after that - i just ore format the partion in the disk util from het mac osx dvd this gives me a active partition (via MBR) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You could try checking if excecute disable bit or something like that is on in the bios, and hasnt been turned off, as I think this can prevent it from booting.
