lilSoldier
Is that dual core? (I think the Pentium Ds are). If so, try booting with the flag cpus=1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97594-help-on-installing-iatkos-please/#findComment-697095 Share on other sites

lilSoldier
Hi, it is a dual core processor, you can tell by looking at the cache (it says 2x2048 for example), and you can check on this website, look at your model number and you will see that it is a dual core. http://www.intel.com/products/processor_nu...t/pentium_d.htm Did you try booting with cpus=1? candykane
Some times i have problems with installes that wount boot. has to do with that the partition is not set to active. usaly i just pop in a xp cd and make a partion using the in staller after that - i just ore format the partion in the disk util from het mac osx dvd this gives me a active partition (via MBR) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97594-help-on-installing-iatkos-please/#findComment-702256 Share on other sites

lilSoldier
basically, when you boot, try pressing F8, then typing "cpus=1", without quotation marks though Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97594-help-on-installing-iatkos-please/#findComment-702785 Share on other sites

lilSoldier
Sorry, I have no other ideas than that. You could try checking if excecute disable bit or something like that is on in the bios, and hasnt been turned off, as I think this can prevent it from booting.
