marcusacapus
Hello, i had this "hfs+ error" on boot with acronis. i think it was because my osx partition was not a primary partition, since i create a primary partition, i did not have this error anymore. Here is how i did it (sorry i'm french) Voilà la procédure que j'ai suivi :1) Liberer de l'espace sur le disque cible avec Acronis ou Partition Magic (pour obtenir de l'espace inutilisé) à hauteur de la taille de la partition detsinée à Mac OSX (20Go chez moi) 2) Ouvrir "Executer" (démarrer->executer) et entrer les commandes suivantes: 3) "diskpart" (sans les guillemets) + Enter 4) "list disk"(sans les guillemets) + Enter-> il affiche les disques avec un N° : 0, 1, 2... 5) "select disk_0"(sans les guillemets, j'ai mis "0" à titre d'exemple, mettre le bon N° de disque) + Enter-> pour travailler sur le disque cible avec de l'espace inutilisé 6) "create partition primary id=af "(sans les guillemets) + Enter -> pour créer une nouvelle partition primaire identifiée en format valide pour le Mac Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9734-multiboot-error-with-acronis/#findComment-62327 Share on other sites

jdxxx
The partition for every boot system MUST be a primary partition. IF you created an extended/logical partition, and installed the restore to that partition, you will not be able to boot. This error is usually caused by the image being restored to a partition that is not configured as primary. XanthraX
I has these problems with OS selector. I use only the darwin boot manager. In OSX open the Terminal and type: sudo nano /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist Enter your root password and type (or change if is allready typed): <key>Timeout</key> <string>8</string> Beware to add a "tab" before each row. I think 8 seconds are enough for you to select which OS to chose. Enjoy! thrunner
The version of Acronis OS selector you need is 9.0.554, the last of the version 9 Acronis Disk Director. Version 9.0.553 seems to work for a while but then you will get boot errors and you will need to use the recovery disk or CD. There are reports of problems with AcroDisDirect suite 10 as well. Do not run the OS selector from WinXP and try to boot OSX from that selection, it will fail as well; although the error is recoverable.
