I don't understand why 10.4.4 does not detect SSE3 at boot on my system, system profiler cannot show information about this (think it's the same for others).

I had to apply SSE2 patch to 10.4.4 since it refused to boot without it !

Anyone has the same issue ? Is it normal ?

AMD 64 X2 users, please check if it does show SSE3 or not on your rigs and post

Thanks :)

what kernel did you use ?

I am using prepatched kernel ... it works ok with the usual issues ... some mouse tearing, itunes preferences unstable, little gui slowdowns

Hope Maxxuss will work the kernel to make SSE3 available in 10.4.5

AMD kernel with SSE3 emulation, only have SSE2...

My problem is the darwin bootloader refuses to work...
