atotaj1 Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 When i was installing Jas 10.4.8 on a vmware server i worked fine bud when i tried on my real laptop it doesn't show any hdd only my dvd my laptop is a hp 6715s AMD Turion X2 TL-60 1gb ram 160gb hdd(FUJITSU MHY2160BH) any ideas??? matheteou Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 i don't have that option in my bios:O I responded to a post by "Robbie Wood" a few days ago regarding this identical thing. There is a kext for the SB600 chip set that takes care of the problem, BUT you have to do the install to an external drive and then apply the new kext before it will recognize the SATA drives. Works well, but I gave up because of the video card not being supported (yet), 1024x768 only.
