they both essentially do the same thing. I personally like Kalyway's because it comes with a bunch of programs pre-installed so i dont have to spend the time setting it up myself.

iAtkos is the only one that worked on one of my old machines, so i had to grab that one. I would go with kalyway first, but thats just my opinion.

I installed iATKOS because it's the one I read about when I first became aware of OSX86. It installed on my ASUS P5B, core2 duo e6600 right away. Everthing worked except for dual screen and resolution with my ATI x1650 card. After a full week of trying to get it to work I gave up and bought an XFX GT8600 card for $79 at Tiger. I wish I'd done that to begin with. It would have saved me a ton of time and grief.

I've been able to update my iATKOS to 10.5.2 with Kalyway's combo updater and kernal packages. I like it so far. I run XP in a virtual machine and everything works, (except for waking up from sleep) and it's been very stable.

Today I tried installing Kalyway to see if it could solve my sleep problem on one of my spare 200GB drives at least 20 times using different combinations of GUID, MBR, EFI, bios settings, etc. etc. Just could not get it to work. I'm typing this right now on my other XP computer while I wait for Kalyway to load one more time.

At least for me, iATKOS was the one that worked the best.
