rinn? Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 ok so, im tryin to dual boot Leopard and Vista on an AMD pc and i have a SATA hard drive. I used Leo4all and it installed perfectly, but i cannot boot it. i get the "Still waiting for root device" error. Kyle(Qazster) said he had the same problem as me n everything, and he fixed it by changing his BIOS to IDE or maybe it was AHCI. i cant do that. the option for it just isnt ther. i dont know wut to do know but im NOT gonna: Buy a mac Get rid of Windows and just use Mac or any other dumb option my specs are: Processor: Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Chipset: GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 Motherboard: Asus M2N68-LA (HP/Compaq motherboard name: Ivy-GL6) RAM: 1GB PNY DDR2 PC2-5300 and 512MB Samsung(?) DDR2 PC2-5300 Graphics Card: HIS ATI Radeon X1650Pro 512MB with IceQ Hard Drive: 250 GB SATA 3G Hitachi HDT725025VLA SCSI BIOS: Phoenix BIOS version 5.09(newest version) yeh i guess thats it.....if i need to add anything else just tell me nevermind. i figured it out thanks to help from alot of "fun" people from the IRC channel.
