(MoC)
Well, I was playing with it and got into Explorer. I then moved the launcher program from its respectful directory and now all I get is the WinCE desktop. Doesn't sound like a big issue, but, the Start Menu is on auto-hide and I can't do anything except make selection rectangles on an empty desktop. Any ideas. btw, the GPS is the latest XROAD model. (MoC)
Isn't there any factory restore option or anything? Kinda, but all the firmware images are in Japanese. Actually, can anybody provide me with the Windows CE explorer.exe file? Weiti
Which version of CE ? What type of PocketPC ? Your device got an internal flash drive, there is everything you need... Just save all files you want via ActiveSync and perform a hard-reset this is on most devices performed by pressing the reset button with a pen and the power button at the same time. If that doesnt work put the battery out of the device an leave it alone for 15 or 30 minutes. This should bring your device back in the state you bought it... But I sent it in to the factory and they gave me a brand new one. Someone can close this topic now.
