ronocker
Hello, I have a working Leopard 10.5.2 and I want to install Windows Vista on a second harddisk. Can I only install Vista and the Darwin Bootloader noticed it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95984-bootcamp/ Share on other sites
komeet
You have to use the vista boot loader. Install Vista. After that Vista has overwritten the darwin bootloader but this is not a problem. Download BCDEdit add your OSX partition. Voila you have a dual boot system. iwantsound44
or you can use darwin........ partition your hdd into 2..then install vista on the second partition.then install leopard..now the first time you start up darwin will not show and it will say hfs+ partition error.then go here http://www.errorforum.com/microsoft-window...stallation.html .......and follow the steps...and this does work because i am using it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95984-bootcamp/#findComment-686050 Share on other sites
Yuusharo
Remember, "Boot Camp" will never work on hacks because boot camp requires EFI to mimic a BIOS environment for Windows to work. Since you already have BIOS, there's no point to it. Granted, that means it's more difficult to dual boot than on a real mac, but you signed up for that already. Also, keep this little fact in mind: Windows XP is easier to dual boot with OSX than Vista.
