Hi everyone, I'm currently looking at purchasing a D-Link DWA-556 as I'm wanting 'N' speeds.

I've read that the DWA-552 is supported natively therefor running as AirPort, this is essentially the same card but PCI-X.

Does anyone use this card? Anyone able to confirm it works?

Thanks in advance.

i have the exact same card and i'm currently working on getting it to work with wireless n mode.

so far it only works in G with the IO80211Family kext

The card works fine in 'n' mode but you have to drop the Airport Extreme down to 2.4ghz range for it to be seen.

So not the 'best' solution but the card does work out of the box.

Edit: Now I am confused; my 'g' only powerbook can see the 'n' network :-/ more reading i guess!
