I would not even try to install their version on your system. It seems like everyone who has tried has had horrible results. I am still running the PPC version 1.01 and installed using the Front Row enabler. The performance is fine, never crashes, and it works great with my Logitech remote.

I tried the newer enabler for the 'FrontRowUpdate1.0.1.pkg' ppc, and this time it didn't screw up my keyboard pref pane but front row still doesnt showup under the keyboard shortcuts. did you do something special to get it working? our bezel* framework and login plugin are different than the ppc builds, perhaps if we can patch those ourselves we can install the frontrow from out 10.4.4 restore disc, that won't install because of the remote check in frontrow.pkg/contents/frontrow.dist pointing to the ~/Resources/DetectRemoteControlFeature. I can't figure it out, but I'd rather patch the program rather than my OS.

if you install from the frontrow.pkg/contents/frontrow.dist it shows what part of the system hardware check that disables the installation.
