LenuaM
Hi everyone, I hope this hasn't already been asked a lot of times because I haven't found any information about this. Personally, I really love the animated starfield which is used for Time Machine, and I wonder whether it's possible to use that as a desktop background. I'm talking about the animated version, not the image. Thanks in advance! Sabr
This is the only information I could find out about it: http://www.usingmac.com/2007/11/10/leopard...hine-background I think the background is rendered on the spot, rather than being a looped video file. (MoC)
That is a very interesting find Sabr. I think there might be some kind of hidden *.qtz file somewhere... I'll look into it more today. LenuaM
Thanks for the replies guys. It would be cool if it was possible to use it as a wallpaper someday. However, it might slow down the system because of the constant rendering.
