ѕӎѳѳ₮ңӌ
Hi, I'm getting to the point where i am going to install leopard. I was confident installing tiger, and will be confident installing leopard, when i understand all the different distributions, kernels, kexts etc etc. Please dont flame me for starting this thread, i have searched but the forums have become very fragmented! So first off, what are the advantages with using the vanilla kernel? Should i use kalyway or retail? I'm guessing that pcefi is a good idea... Thanks for your time, im not a noob, just a misguided osx86 user Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95144-best-leopard-solutions/ Share on other sites

Or just jump in with Kalyway and EFI. (You can install vanilla and hacked and can pick either on startup.)
