xyhh Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 install 10.4.4 under 10.4.3. install 10.4.5 update dmd under 10.4.3 replace mach_kernel with maxxuss patched mach_kernel (10.4.4) install decrypted files. replace applesmbios.kext,ioatafamily.kext and place the kext u need (like ac97,ps2,ionetwork...etc) then u can boot 10.4.5 with a 10.4.4 kernel(patched). In 10.4.5 i can halt pc with some usb installations(under 10.4.3 10.4.4 i can't do it ) issue : 1 mount dmg error show load_hdi: timed out waiting for driver to load 2006-02-20 23:11:28.781 diskimages-helper[447] ERROR: unable to load disk image driver - 0xE00002C0/-536870208 - . hdiutil: mount failed -device not configured it's fix use:chmod 4555 /usr/bin/hdiutil 4555 is right? i forget it ,in 10.4.4 use hdiutil will give the repair msg. 2 can't chang refresh anymore. 3 feel slower than 10.4.4 ps. i replace all kext with 10.4.4 it's fast as 10.4.4. I hope it doesn't end up the same as just changing the version plist. NVIDIA kext load error I think MAXXUSS can hack the kernel 8.5.1 soon ,it look like a small chang with 8.4.1 THANKS MAXXUSS ! I have a interrogation if not support NVIDIA card,why apple update the NVIDIA DRIVES again and again? or we miss something ?
