Guest h2a
It appears as though Time Machine can now backup wirelessly to Airport Disks after updating to the latest Time Machine + Airport update and then entering Airport Utility and updating to firmware 7.3.1. So far i've had to reformat and start a new backup, but it appears to be working. Seems to be working for other users on MacRumors as well. Give it a try and lets see how it goes. Suhail
According to various news sources this means that AEBS drives connected via Airport Extreme work under Time Machine. I don't have one myself to test it out but if anyone does then we would like to hear from you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/94603-airport-base-station-firmware-731-released/#findComment-674261 Share on other sites
hp4life
It does work, and its awesome, thank you apple!!! Airport disk performance has also improved ten fold. With Leopard, 7.1 was the only reliable firmware to have, but i still had to restart my base station every time i unplugged my drive. 7.3.1 is much more speedy and reliable.
