nate256 Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 So i do not know if this is possible on a Hackintosh but i was wondering if there is a way to change the boot ROM info so that you can use BOOT camp? it tells me that i need to update my boot rom info. so are there are any ways of using boot camp and changing the boot rom version on a Hack? komeet Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Why do you want to use boot camp? Boot camp is for real macs for simulating a BIOS to install Windows. But on hackintoshs you already have a BIOS and you can install Windows anyway Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ALL it does on a real Mac, is install a BIOS module for EFI to allow the Mac to boot Windows. It also gives drivers for Windows, that are for the Apple hardware.
