Hi all,

first off I appologise if there is already a post on this. I just can't seem to find one. Wrong search terms perhaps.

Anyway, I want to see my CPU temp in OSX (I'm running kalyway 10.5.1 + combo and kernel updates 10.5.2 - Kernel 9.2). But any app I install (iSTAT, temp monitor, hardware monitor, etc) the only available temp sensor readouts are for my two segate HDD's. What is my osx missing? Or need patching? I really want to know how hot my sytem is running under osx. Is anybody able to please help me out?

My sytem Specs are this;

--------------------------------------------

Intel Pentium 4 Hyperthreading 3GHz

ASUS P4P800 SE motherboard

2GB PC400 RAM @ 800Mhz

Many thanks

DrP.

OSX is not missing anything the only Intel processors used have been of the Core family variety therefore all the sensor apps developed have been using the built in temperature diodes of this family of chips to get the readings so you will never get a reading from a pre-Core chip.
