robhim
So i have two problems. first is the DVD of osx when booted from only shows a black screen with a blinking cursor, it just hangs there forever. second problem, so if i don't boot from the cd, and i boot from my harddrive, it won't boot into windows, but instead tries and says "Loading PBR for descriptor 2...done" then hangs. what i did was create a partition in front of my harddrive, did the diskpart to set active partition as 2. and tried to boot the osx intaller dvd. nothing worked. how can i fix this? also, is there a bootable CD i can use to switch active partitions to get back into windows, i don't have a disk drive. someone please help. Hagar
Sorry, no idea about your 2 main problems... as for setting a partition active, this can be done from a dos boot cd like hirens (with fdisk or similar). With a windows boot cd at the recovery console (fixmbr) or with a linux boot cd like knoppix with fdisk or another partitioning tool.
