i*C
Hi everyone hope you are all enjoying you pc-mac combination. I am new, but really like to explore new possibilities. I have downloaded KALYWAY Leopard to install on my self build box. I am planing to buy Leopard and make everything right (already place apple logo on my box:)) My bios is set up to load from DVD first so when i turn on my pc with leopard in it, it loads ok, i see apple logo after that i see desktop and screen that supposedly guides me through installation. When i get to installation screen and click "install" i get this error: The Installer could not create the folder "/Volumes/Untitled/BaseSystem.pkg.127q0KxOF" I am not sure what this is and why it does it. Here is my box specs... 1. XFX nForce 680i LT mother board 2. Intel core 2 duo 2.2GHZ 3. ATA HD (i am using my old HD 70GB, dont want to screw up my windows HD) 4. 2GB Crosir Ram 5. gForce 5200 graphics card (128 mb) 6. SATA LG DVD burner 7. 500 WATT PSU I thing that the main thing that needs to be mentioned. Please help me to resolve the error. Thank you!!! Deviant0ne
I think your problem is your nForce chipset. Try this thread. newbmac
There is an NFORCE board tutorial or something in one of the forums. Otherwise, those two install help threads list how to setup the boot stuff as one of the typical problems Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93850-having-problems-installing-kalyway-leopard-please-check-it-out-please/#findComment-670012 Share on other sites
