Hagar
Nothing is impossible.. the FAT partition could be resized and you could add a 4th primary partition to the mix.. provided this fits with what you already have, the partitioning tools you use, the size of the partitions, disk etc. however, if, for instance your vfat is logical rather than primary, then it will have to go. As always the rule is to have a good solid backup & then experiment, one thing at a time. A triple-boot with a vfat exchange partition is certainly possible, whether you can get there easily from where you are is a differrent matter. Mac OSX Coder
I would suggest an easier method, get three hard drives, with a switch that turns which one on etc. This way the files don't get mixed up with each other, you can boot whichever one you want, and if one HD screws up, you still have the other two or vice versa. As Hagar said earlier, nothing is impossible. I think with your current system set up or your goals, it is very feasible. However with installing OSX86, it is very likely you will loose all your data, but it may very from computer to computer. You need to 100% back up ALL your data if you attempt this project. If you don't, your screwd. That's it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9375-help-partitionsboot/#findComment-58481 Share on other sites

Hagar
OK you will see from your partitionmagic that the second partition (the turqoise extended one - "Estesa") contains the remaining 3. That means that the partitions you have are logical, and they need to be primary for booting. I dont know of any way to convert a logical partition into a primary one other than deleting all of them and making new ones. In short: you need to delete everything except the ntfs partition & create new primary partitions instead to achieve what you want. ..unless anyone knows of a tool that can convert logical partitions to primary?
