What is the best PCI video card

Hmm, I really don't know if you can even buy those anymore. You should consider buying a new mainboard and a decent cheap PCI-E or AGP card instead. For AGP, I recommend the NVidia 7800GS and for PCI-E, the 7600GT.

Cheers,

I have a dimension 3000 and it has only pci slots. 10.5.2 runs well, but i want a better video card so QE can be enabled (i have thi 865g intel ). So, whats the best PCI video card I can get for pretty cheap?

Best PCI video card I ever had was a 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI Mac Edition (66MHz 32-bit PCI), but there was never a OSX driver for it.

Looks like you best option/chance would be a Radeon HD 2400 Pro.

BTW: QE requires at least an AGP video card on a real Mac, though some people did get it hacked to work on some 66MHz PCI Mac video cards, if I remember correctly. Your Dell probably only has 33MHz PCI slots, however. So, don't expect to get QE regardless.

PS: Looks like the above may no longer be true, so maybe you can get QE.
