Im not using NVinject B) im using EFI for my video card...

Hi Paulzurr!

FYI EFI strings DO contain this information, just like injectors do.

You may need to modify your string to get all the outputs working.

To get the nvcap, you can grab the .rom file from your card using NVflash (look for one that works under windows, not dos, cause that's easier)

http://www.ngohq.com/news/6531-nvflash-5-1...p-2003-x64.html

or you can get your rom from here->

http://www.mvktech.net/component/option,co...ctfolder/cat,4/

Load the .rom up with nvcapmaker and you will have the NVCAP.

You can also use gfxutil from netkas as this should help.

there is another guy that seems to be doing research in this areas, his name is Krazubu:-

Any other tips on this you could try netkas, jas, or andy v (others are on netkas.com)

Search for this on google:-

Krazubu nvidia installation osx + open up the page in cached

note this "To edit a plist it's recommended to use "property list editor" (available in dev tools) or "plist edit pro" (available on the web) especially for NVCAP editing otherwise it won't be displayed in hexa but in base64 which is unusable."

What is cool is that i found out you can make efi strings for agp cards. Jas did it.

Anyone up for making a new set of presets for AGP cards? (nvidia and ati)

I also recommend EFI Studio as this shows you what is behind the efi strings.

Also, please some tell me if i am talking censored, cause i aint implemented any of this myself, just read about it.

Good luck,

HC
