Chief9999
Hi there we have very similar setups I have a Asus a8n-sli deluxe 3800X2 939 I'm using the same Zephyroth set up I'm not sure why the fire wire defaults to secure It does it on mine too and always continues to desktop so I'd say don't worry about that. I ran my install off a slave though normally I do it master also it worked. The real problem your having is the sam errors. If you see those I'd check the dvd and if it looks smudge and scratch free toss it in the trash and burn another one at 2x or 4 x max . I hope this helps. It took me 4 times before My burned corretly but been enjoying 10.5.2 for a week now. Thanks Zeph and mac Girl I have a AMD 3800X2, asus A8N5X, 6600GT, LG DVD rom IDE and a maxtor IDE HDD I tried to install Zephyroth leopard 10.5.2 but in -v i seen: Firwire error default mode to secure nforceata phy connection failed Sam multimedia read and write error... and wait for root device MY DVD rom is in IDE0 master, i tried every position of jumper Is there a patch?
