phoebus
Do you use a 103 keys international (non US) keyboard ? Enabling the appropriate map in Tiger with a PS/2 keyboard doesn't work completely for me, since at least one key remains inactive, while its characters are actually typed with another unrelated key. With an USB keyboard all keys seems active, but the Mac mapping doesn't seem to be exactly the same as the 'standard' IBM PC mapping. rohde
Mac keyboards are different from PC keybaords with regard to some of the special characters. So even though I changed langauge and input method to my native language (Danish) and able to write special Danish characters like ø, æ and å just as if I'm on a PC, some of the special characters simply have different mappings on a Mac. For example on a Danish PC keyboard map I use Alt Gr-8 for '[' and on the Mac I must use Alt-{censored} 8 etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/921-internation-ps2-keyboards/#findComment-5597 Share on other sites
XoDeus
So how would you say you will get the danish keyboard working with all keys just like you know them? Where the Alt Gr also works? I just defined the keyboard layout in Ukelele. Works well - Windows key maps to Command, AltGr to Option via System Prefs and voila. - zbob Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/921-internation-ps2-keyboards/#findComment-219308 Share on other sites
