Sonic-NKT
Hi, im quite a noob when it comes to programming, and only have some experience in compiling programs on linux. now i wanted to use Midnight Commander on OS-X but the packages available are quite old, so i thought why not compile it yourself. ok downloaded the XCode2.5 Package (im on tiger, x86) and then tried to compile MC, ok it was missing, glib, tried to compile that, glib was missing pkgconfig. i tried to compile that and it worked, then i installed it and tried to run configure on glib again but it still gives me an error that its missing pkg-config. can someone help me here? PS: i used the latest sources for all those programs. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91836-compiling-midngight-commander/ Share on other sites
