hockeyman96
Has anyone tried setting up with an Intel DQ965GF motherboard (running Intel e4500 CPU)? I have installed all the components and am having a problem with the BIOS menus settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. iji oh
I'm not sure about your specific board, but here's a set of bios settings that are optimal for installing Leopard **************************** THIS IS A BIOS SETTING TEMPLATE : To your CPU CONFIGURATION section : MAX CPUID VALUE Limit (or similar) : Disabled Vanderpool or virtualization : Disabled CPU TM Function : Enabled Excecute Disable Bit (or called NX or XD on some mobos) : Enabled (the most important, if not enabled the result is reboot loop with vanilla kernel) To your POWER section : ACPI 2.0 Support : Enabled ACPI APIC : Enabled Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91738-bios-settings-for-intel-board/#findComment-654416 Share on other sites
