Sorry for the newbish first post, but I could really use this info!

Pretty straight forward, I couldn't find any conformation of wether this mobo, the XFX nForce 680i, would work for a hackintosh, so if anyone can give me a yes or a no, I would really apreciate it!

Also, will a hackintosh supposrt SLI if I decide to get it going?

I have this motherboard too and cant even get discs to bootup to install from iDeneb, iAtkos, or Kalyway. Has ANYBODY gotten this to work? What version did you use and did you use any flags like -v, -f, cpus=1? Been trying so many different installs and haven't found one to work.

Well, I have an XFX nForce 780i "working". It installed great, everything worked fine, but Finder crashes and freezes up pretty often. And sometimes I get a "still waiting on root device error" when I boot. It's random but it happens.

Basically, I followed http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.6.2#XFX and the thread it links to. From the sounds of it, there's a lot of people with stable rigs using nForce motherboards.

Just for me, I always had to boot the retail from Boot132 DVD and then my installation in safe mode ("-x") before installing the kexts, or it just wouldn't boot.
