I know the problem. Download Gparted LiveCD, and re-partition your drive completely (erase all partitions, apply, then create two new partitions, the first one will not be formated (Mac OS) and the other one will be your data (format it as FAT32).

 

After that, use Disk Utility in Kalyway, and format your Mac OS "unformated" partition as Journaled Extended. Now, install on it.

 

I don't know exacly what is the problem, but that's how I fixed it on my friend's USB drive. Even tho it was marked as Boot and Primary it was still blinking.

 

Oh, and be sure to backup everything on your USB drive, cause youll lose everything by partitioning.
