Chill out, your pc turns on but then cannot boot to anything so it turns off. Ok first, go into your BIOS and restore default settings, then put the windows installation cd in and turn off pc. Turn your pc back on and boot off cd. It will wipe your HDD, and install a fresh version of windows xp. Next connect to the internet and download the latest drivers (optional) then re-download os x again but try a different torrent.

Edited topic title. Do not shout for help, it is antagonistic and ignorant. You take certain risks and responsibilities when you go down the route of OSx86. If you cant afford to screw your install or lose your data, you should not be installing OSx86.

Also, the golden rule of asking for help in this forum is you MUST post your system specs, the exact distribution of OSx86 you used, and anything else which might help someone troubleshoot for you.

Just shouting for help is simply not good enough.

Sorry guys, I'm really sorry! When I finished installing Mac OS X 86 10.4.8...(The install went perfect) When I turned off the computer to reboot into the new OS, The computer had power and the fans were running. The computer didn't read the HD nor did it detect ram, video card,...nothing. The screen turned on when I turned on the computer but in 5-10 seconds it turned itself off, when I turned it back on it turned itself back off! I am really confused!

Heres my specs:

Intel Pentium D 3.20GHz Dual Core

4 Gigs of RAM

Nivida 7300 GT Super w/ 512MB of Video RAM

1x - HD 160 Gig Sata

1x - Hd 200 Gig Sata

Also, I had this OS X 86 10.4.8 on the computer before...and now it don't work?

Do you have any other operating systems installed on other partitions/hard drives?

If so, put in your OSX86 disc, hit F8 to bring up the prompt, and enter in "-s" without quotes.

It'll go through loading everything, and then you get a terminal-like prompt, here you can enter in "fdisk -e /dev/rdisk#"

(# being the hard drive number, 0 if you only have 1 hard drive installed)

This will select the disk, and from here, you can type in "flag #" (# being the number of the partition you'd like to use)

Once you've flagged the partition, type "write", then "update", then "quit" (all without quotes obviously, and hitting enter in between each)

Then reboot your computer, and the computer should launch into the other partition you selected. If you had XP/Vista installed, it may prompt you to insert your Windows CD because Darwin ate the Vista/XP bootloader.

Hopefully this helps a bit, it's really hard to tell with your situation.
