It seems like it when both devices use the same port type, it will work ... like usb/usb or ps2/ps2. Usb/ps2 mix doesnt work though. I think there is a script floating around though that allows them to coexist after install. bofh41 Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 I 'm stuck during install with the same problem, but with a littl twist: variation tht when i use a usb to ps2 adapter for my mouse both wont work. Does anybody know about that? I'm using the Zephyroth 10.5.2 AMD image, is there some script or kernel flag i can set so it works during install? thanks! swaine Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 Terminal in using DVD and rename to kext.bak the kexts for ps2 trackball and ps2 mouse. They will still work, just let the keyboard work. Do try and use Ps2 mouse + ps2 keyboard just to make sure you have keyboard, then Alt+Q past registration, and get your username setup. After that, you can use what you want it seems.
