CompCrasher86 Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Because he has a notebook his ethernet adaptor is no doubt integrated into the motherboard... seren Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Try to boot via the DVD and from Utilities select Terminal and in the terminal run this cd /Volumes/"your hackintosh drive"/System/Libraries/Extensions/ then run ls -al AppleRTL8169* if you see AppleRTL8169EThernet run rm -rf AppleRTL8169EThernet.kext if this all worked you should be able to reboot and use your wifi or a usb rthernet dongle. I fyou cant find AppleRTL8169EThernet there must be an different kext that uses Realtek 8169. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Moekind Posted February 21, 2008 Author Share Posted February 21, 2008 ya i guess there is a different kext im trying to see if i can find anything i did exclude the Ethernet driver during install but still same result i think it automatically detects it or something i cant find it! cant find that kext file still no luck!!!
