Lytener Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Hi there, I'm not sure how doable this is. I've been looking for directions on updating my EFI. I'm running 10.5.2 Kalyway. Originally my install was 10.5.1 Kaylway with EFI v5. Would upgrading to 8 make any difference? I get the famous black screen lag even when I have the 9.2 kernel update, graphics update, etc... My iCal and DVDplayer.app also do not function correctly (never have). I'm a little confused about how to go about updating it when I use MBR. Can anyone help? Thanks!
