Hexidecimal
I finally got iATKOSir2 + Equate Patch installed on my GA-N650SLI-DS4 mobo. 8800GTS working fine, onboard Audio works, using a Realtek 8139 NIC. USed the Kalyway 10.5.2 update, but if I used the modded kernel update, I can only boot properly with 1 core. Is there a 9.2.0 Kernel that works on NForce5 Boards and supports more then 1 core? Hexidecimal
I'm using an EFI/GUID install. So I'm assuming a no EFI kernel would only give me headaches. Thanks netkas, that kernel worked and let me keep my quad core running, however it did not eliminate the hang up before boot, which I thought the 9.2.0 kernel did, any other tips? Max_Berlin
I have a Phenom proc on an Asus m3a32-mvp, the Zephyroth 10.5.1 is the only one which works (boots) fine. I will try the ToH kernel today. There is a 790FX / SB600 Chipset on it. There are very good drivers for the SB600-South Breach, for the 790FX ... nothing I have an ATI HD3870 (512 MB DDR4), and 4G (1066+) Corsair DHX-Dominator, the PhenomX4 9570 (2,4GHz), 2x 500GB SATA-Drives. The Marvell network controller is death, the ADI1988 is working fine, the HD3870 is death too, I think this is because no mobo-driver?? Not sure about this. It is a sad to have just 1024x786 on a 24" monitor .. I hope someone can help me .. please About the nForce5, that is my second system ... well ... we are all waiting for a good working driver. In most of the packages there is a driver for the nForce4 which ... more or less does work. I have an Asus m2n32-sli, there is an AMD +5600 with 2x 2 gigs XMS pairs, a Geforce 8600 GTS (512 DDR4), 2 500G SATA-HDDs and a SATA BD-DVD-ROM, and of course a MCP55 from MeDevil, which is better known as nForce 590-SLI. The system runs very smooth, the ethernet cards are death (they are a kind of Marvell ... thing), they call it "Marvell PHY" whatever this might be I have a 8183-eth instead, which works fine. To install the system fast, I have a small 80G IDE drive, one large partition for the sys and 3 small ones for the packages. Zhephy is the best for amds .... but take the koolsoft from kaly or leo ... If there is a driver for the nforce PLEASE!! Tell me!! THX!!
