Aham, everything works for me now, but my motherboard has a little bit different soundcard. But fixed that already. So

Just to know the sound is not the best quality, I have some noise when I get the speakers to high volume. It's annoying but when you regulate it get's better. VOLUME CONTROL IS NOT WORKING. That's the bad, atleast sound is working.

Thanks for the guide, it will help others too, I'm sure.

I also have the P5LD2. But i dont have a core 2 duo cpu! I got the intel pentium D920... So it didnt work out! I installed everything, and when mac booted, the error came up, that i should restart my computer!! I read in some threads, that the P5LD2 CANT work with Pentium D cpus and Hackintosh! Does somebody here now, if this could be possible? Will the problem be solved with ANY core 2 duo?

Thanks!

Hi folks, yesterday the new 10.5.5 cat was launched and again I managed to install it respecting the method used for 10.5.2 , 10.5.3 or 10.5.4 (see some guides in the forums to this link http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=107340#).

Just Audio has to be reinstalled (ALC882 from the older kext). Everything works out of the box. :)

Capture attached for proving the result.
