  1. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Alright, so I need those 2 kexts, do you know how I can patch them for my sound ?
  2. DSDT Auto-Patcher

http://cl.ly/041o2r2G1i0K0s003t2D Applied, ran Kext Utility and restarted, and that's what I get in Sys Pref - but I don't have sound at all ? Any ideas what the problem might be ? Thanks Edit Do I need to have an AppleHDA.kext in my S/L/E or something ?
  3. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hey, thanks again for creating my DSDT. I want to ask you, can you patch my sound through the DSDT by any chance ? Here's my sound string - 0x27d88086 I've attached the DSDT you created - Thanks in advance ! dsdt.aml.zip
  4. ^ The title. Does anyone have a clue ? I repaired permissions through disk utility, and then when I clicked on Restart it hung on a blue screen with the spinning wheel.. I had to force reboot from the button of the PC. If I don't repair permissions it restarts perfectly, right away. Thanks.
  5. Hi, don't wanna open a new thread. What does this kext do exactly ? I have it in my /E folder, should I keep it there or it's useless ? Thanks.
  6. DSDT Auto-Patcher

System profiler says that I have only one EHCI ( USB 2.0 Port ), but all of them are USB 2.0, fix for this ? I'm using Chameleon RC5 r700. It's just my USB Soundcard is making terrible noises and disconnects frequently, and it never gets recognized as USB 2.0, but USB 1.0.
  7. ATI 4850 - Quartz Extreme

I have ATI 4850 512MB, all I did was - Add 0x94421002 in the ati4800controller.kext, then go to apple.com.boot.plist and write "<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>" under this row write "<string>Yes</string>". Repair permissions + run Kext Utility to be sure. Restart, it has to be working fully. This method is the easiest, 1 min and it's working. I've also tried all kinds of {censored} and this is the easiest and natively working method
  8. DSDT Auto-Patcher

MaLd0n - Hi again ! I wanted to ask you something, I wonder if it can be fixed with the dsdt you gave me. When I play full hd videos in youtube my CPU goes to 93% of usage and I can't watch the video normally.. it lags and it's choppy Do you think that's fixable somehow ? I've attached the DSDT you gave me 1 month ago. Thanks in advance ! Here's a screenie.. http://img834.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20110123at180.png/ I've attached the DSDT you made for me ! Thanks ! dsdt.aml.zip
  9. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Well I have an option, S3/Auto and None. It's currently on Auto. But I enabled S3 when I tried what you said, and it didn't work so I reverted back to Auto.
  10. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Attached. The second command is not working ( grep Wake /var/log/kernel.log ). cat.txt
  11. DSDT Auto-Patcher

The same thing Any other tweaks I should be aware of ? BIOS settings change ?
  12. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Did everything you said, added the strings, deleted both the kexts. I use Chameleon RC5 r700, rebooted in -v. I also ran kext utility + I repaired disk permissions. When waking the computer still restarts.. any ideas why ?
  13. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Thanks for the reply ! I've attached the kextstat. Thanks ! kextstat.txt
  14. DSDT Auto-Patcher

MaLd0n - Thanks a lot for the dsdt you gave me. I have a question, I tried a couple of sleepenabler kexts, but everytime It goes to sleep, when I wake it up it reboots the computer.. Do you have any suggestions ?
  15. Playback issues w/ ATI 4850HD in SL

Hey fellas, I have a problem in OS X ( Version 10.6.6, updated from 10.6.3 iAtkos ). When I play an HD video, say 720p or 1080p, it's choppy every now and then ( VLC and couple of other players ). Also, in YouTube, when I switch to fullscreen, while watching full hd vids - it's choppy/ lags quite frequently ( both Firefox and Safari ). I tried reinstalling the flash player - no difference, since it's probably system-wide ( not only in the internets ). Most notably - I have no problems whatsoever in Windows, playing the same stuff]/b] So I'm pretty sure it's not my GPU, since it's fully capable of playing this content. Normal screen mode plays smoothly though ( YT ) ! I have qe/ci and all that {censored} enabled. Since this Ati tends to be heatmonster, I already bought a cooling pack Scythe Infinity so I can keep temperatures down.. But I guess that ain't the problem, since Win doesn't have the issues cited above. If someone has a solution or anything I can do, maybe try different kexts or methods for the GPU, or maybe it has something to do with my other components. Here they are, incase that'd help ; MB : ASUS P5LD2 - SE RAM : 4 x 1GB Kingston @ 667Mhz DDR2 CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 @ @2Ghz ( stock clocks ) HDD : Brand new 320GB Samsung PSU : Fortron 400W Thanks in advance !
