Hi,

First time poster here, hello everyone :P

I tried this guide http://inihilist.wordpress.com/2008/01/07/...of/#comment-878

, following it exactly with the right torrent. After step 4. it says "System config file ‘/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found.

My burn speed was x4. i can't find anything about AHCI on bios, I have SATA HDD on sata channel 0.

System:

Processor: Intel e6300

Mobo: abit AB9

Graphics card: 7900 GS

What should I do?

I've been having the same problem on my ASUS P5B Deluxe Wi-fi, with my IDE optical drive.

It seemed to be a problem with the JMicron IDE controller and the Darwin boot loader / Chameleon.

I Patched my iAtkos 2.0i iso with the patch from the chameleon site (do a google search for: "JMicron IDE DVD drive fix in the Darwin loader").

My install now loads, no more /com.apple.Boot.plist not found errors.

I got it working using this random BIOS and PAUSE/BREAK technique by @kjpu

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=799204

I had the same error on an HP DV6000....I tried the JMicron patch on a Kalyway 10.5.2 disc, tried a iAtkos 4 disc, and an unpatched Kalyway 10.5.2. In the end, a combination of kjpu's tip and the unpatched Kayway DVD is letting me install... who knows what comes next but I am no longer stuck with com.apple.Boot.plist error... somehow the PAUSE/BREAK and password strategy worked for me.

Seems impossible.

waiting on <dict id="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key>.......</dict>
