dkelley
Huh? that's perfectly specific! Guys - what he has there is toast in a .bin archive. You need the free stuffit expander (runs under rosetta). Find it - download it - install it. Then try double clicking the first .bin file and see what happens. If nothing then do some research on multi file .bin archives and how to join them. What you SHOULD get in the end is a single large joined together toast.bin file, which will need to be expanded (stuffit expander again) into whatever it has inside (probably a dmg or similar). OR maybe you need a joiner application to join the numbered bin files and then expand the resulting large .bin file with stuffit expander. I believe (but could be wrong) .bin files are generally an outdated archiving method on OSX and probably indicate that the version of toast or whatever that's in the archive is outdated as well. You might try looking for a new version somewhere... the "usual" locations isn't a bad start (DEMONs and andrOIDs, or where I saw some PIRATEs hanging out at the BAY) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8805-how-do-you-use-toast-7/#findComment-54762 Share on other sites
