goofy
I need a more powerfull Graficcard. And i want to buy the most compatible and fastest card. The 8800GT is maybe the first choice cause i comes with the Mac Pro. But is the new 8800GTS as compatible as the GT ? Cause then i will buy the GTS instead of the GT. Thanks for reply

Synaesthesia
Yeah, it is compatible. So get a 8800GTS.
papillon68
I'd definitely go for a 8800GT with 512 or 1GB, possibly Asus. It can be easily overclocked and match, even outclass the GTS. And of course is lss expensive. goofy
Thanks I decided to buy a ECS Elitegroup 8800GT 512MX+ HS 512MB DDR3 Heatpipe Which has the Artic S1 cooler preinstalled, it is also a bit overclocked and cheap, what should i want more. I hope it will run good under Leopard, but i think it will run as any 8800GT.

dnjmarlboro
I'm very interested too. Please share your experiences with the Elitegroup 8800gt as soon as possible
cyclonefr
You did the right choice. GTS isn't that much more powerful for its price.
goofy
i did not receive the ECS Card till now, but will report here when arrived. As i said i dont think/hope the ECS 8800GT MX+ is problematic, there should be no difference to the other cards.
goofy
The card seems to run, at least with NVinject 0.33 i have 2 DVI Monitors and QE Will try with EFI Strings, lets see. But the card seems to be as any other GF 8800GT.

ridgecity
I have the same ECS 8800 GT but I can't run dual monitors using dvi-to-vga adapters, can you try to see if it works on yours?
