Does anyone know if x86 will work with that new chip? Is the chip really good or am i better of getting an amd athlon 64 or intel core2 duo? Thanks, Josh Phenom has problems with EFI witch causes reboot of install DVD. venomq Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 i have problem with my amd phenom 9500 at 10.5.2 it reboots right wenn it will load the kernel and at 10.5.1 it will reboot after it loads the kernel. can anybody correct this issue? can i at least install 10.4.10 or so? whats the big deal with this prozessor even if i deactivate everithing on bios except dvd and hdd it will not install.....
