Hey guys, just wanting to know whether my system would be able to run Leopard sufficiently performance and compatibility wise (will it actually work etc). Below are the specifications of my machine. Thanks, much appreciated.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

Gigabyte P35-DS3 (Click for Specs)

Gigabyte 8600 GT (256MB)

2GB DDR2 RAM

LG GSA-H62N x18 DVD-RW

Will the audio work out of the box? Will networking work out of the box? Will the machine be able to be put to sleep? Etc, etc, if not is there any fixes that can be taken to allow such functionality to work? What would be the best distribution (as such) of Leopard to try? iATKOS? Kalyway?

everything will probably work.

I've used one of those Mobos and, aside the ethernet, everything went ok.

For LAN I had to install a realtek LAN card, and for sound I just made a linux codec dump and used it on Taruga's patcher found on this forum.

Finally, you'd better check your graphic's card compatibility
