shivab
Using Gigabyte P5-DS3....booted using Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD with nvidia-gdesktop, but later applied NVinject, but no luck with QE/CI. However, resolution is changeable. I can exchange it from Fry's for a 7300GT or something else that works....but wanted to double check with you guys, since I didnt find any obvious answers.. shivab
So I guess, I will just re-install at this point and select nvinject at custom install. Anything else i need to do once the thing is set up? shivab
Thanks, confirmed. I selected the nvinject and everything is recognized. The fonts aren't are as crisp as I would like, but i am expecting its more of a font issue. ... shivab
So, i believe it has to do with alias-ing. I guess I dont like Mac's aliasing, specially after coming from Ubuntu... I took a snapshot of my desktop, and you can see the font on the terminal, which are un-aliased. Also, now that I am using a DVI cable, it gives me more color profiles to choose from.....the Dell 1801FP profile, was a little lighter for me... So, one question i had is how do I turn off anti-aliasing for the the whole system. Is it going through Appearance->Dont Smooth for Fonts below (and choosing a font size big enough?)
