You have to use the kext for AppleBCM5751Ethernet.

AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext.zip

I use iAtkos v7. Installation works perfectly. I can boot correctly on my jailbroken PC!!

.. but on my D820 the NIC card is not detected and installed properly.

I checked, and the AppleBCM5751Ethernet is correctly in the directory /System/Library/Extensions

My devices:

- Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller

- Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

it was impossible to achieve driver installation of my internal Ethernet and WiFi cards.

So I buyed a dongle USB: Linksys WUSB100

and I installed the Ralink RT2870 drivers. The drivers are available on official site: http://www.ralinktech.com .. in the Software/Macintosh section you'll find the DMG and so the driver :-)

i managed to make a succesful install on a dell latitude d820.

Here is a link with all the drivers:

http://intulcea.ro/mac/

Regarding wi fi , I went to a friend and changed my onboard wi fi with a broadcom wi-fi, which was recognized instantly, without the need of any other kexts.

I disabled 1 cpu from bios, for fixing the strange mouse error.

I used Iatkos , and I was able to update it directly.

The only problem after updating to 10.5.8 is that the bluetooth sometimes stops during session. but I turn off the wireless/bt switch and then I turn it back and it works

Now that we are in 2010, has anyone redone the instructions with the latest versions? New Linux convert here, drooling at the possibility to run Mac!
