1. Thanks, I was just missing the "ethernetbuiltin" variable
2. What solution are you referring to? I can confirm 2189 and 2191 are not working for me as of 5/22, I was successful on 5/22.
3. iMessage/Messages Fix-How To

I am unsuccessful with installing clover. I executed the command line and it fails. Can someone post the package to make this a bit simpler? My script error is "line 249: base tools: unbound variable"
4. HP EliteBook 8540w

I have installed 10.6.4 using a working Mac with universal installer. Format drive Install 10.6.4 with UInstaller Boot using latest ##### CD Setup OS X Run ##### (need to use keyboard to navigate as USB mouse is not working yet) Ctrl+F7 to activate #####) ##### System Utilities voodoohda 0.2.1 intel network 82566 USB voodoo ps/2 controller w/ MacBook Pro smbios Chameleon 5 Pre release theme Restart Right side USB 3.0s work (left USB do not) Video is sweet (nvidia quadro) i7 620 w/ 4GB Audio is working WIRELESS DOES NOT (intel ultimate n 6300) Trackpad does not, but i don't like using anyhow Sleep does not work (but who really sleeps their pc anyway?) Continued with Mac Software Update... Installed all that showed up except 10.6.5 update Restart Installed 10.6.5 from downloaded previously downloaded .dmg Overall not a great install, but it is a start. Ethernet works, however you need to wait until system boots before you plug in the LAN cable.
5. Opps, updated to 10.6.2.... now kernel panic is back.
6. I got it installed. Used 10.6 disk and this link. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=184903 I got video, keyboard, touchpad, battery and wireless working. BUT NO SOUND. Can anyone help me with sound? I have the Sigmatel 9200. It was working with 10.5, but that was awhile ago and I am not quite sure how I got it working. Dell post installer package I believe, but I am not smart enough to know if that kext will work with 10.6. I have tried voodoohda, but do I need something else? Like applehda or hdaenabler? Should they be in Extra/Ext or S/L/E? Thanks in advance. Specially to those who wrote the kext's I am using. Edit: All stated above is 32bit. 64bit loads, but keyboard does not work, maybe just a ps2kext for 64? Edit: Sleep does not work. LCD goes black, but laptop does not shutdown. Move the mouse, and it comes alive, but screen stays dark, pc never wakes up. Have to boot it.
7. D820 Kernel Panic

applied suggested kext. Now it still hangs.... last two lines go like this.... waitforservice(resourcematching(appleintelcpupowermanagement) time out WARNING - LPC device initialization failed: C-state power management not initialized
8. Trying to install 10.6 on Dell D820. As it boots, it panics on AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. "No HPETs available...CPU(s) configured incorrectly" I installed 10.6 using Universal installer and then loaded Chameleon RC4 and the following kexts according to the link. http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...s#Latitude_D820 VoodooTscSync.kext NVKush BCM5751Ethernet.kext PS2KeyboardFix VoodooHDA.kext VoodooBattery Thoughts on why it wants to panic? Should I not be using Uinstaller?
9. Asus P5N7A-VM

Had a tuner card in Slot 1 (according to manual). Removed it, now sleep works!!! THANK YOU! Any suggestions on a board that is available that is as solid as this board? Since this board is not available any longer.... Thanks!
10. Asus P5N7A-VM

I have everything working except for sleep. If I engage sleep, fans never shutdown and bios needs to be reset after powerdown. Any suggestions? Cameleon RC3 10.6.2 DSDT.aml on root In Extra... com.apple.Boot.plist, fakesmc.kext, openhaltrestart.kext, platformUUID.kext In Extra/E AppleHDA.kext, fakesmc, OHR, platformuuid, smbios.plist Flashed bios with lastest p5n.rom Not sure which ones are being loaded, but originally when I installed it months back, i need the kexts in SLE's to get it to boot. Thoughts?
11. Asus P5N7A-VM

Anyone got an idea why this board is not available anywhere any longer? Suggestions on where to find it?
12. Asus P5N7A-VM

Could someone post the latest guide with the latest working kexts, etc? I have just a couple issues I would like to resolve. 1. Sleep does not work 2. HDMI works only when a HD15 is hooked up as well.
13. Asus P5N7A-VM

Purchased HP 2509m monitor and I'm trying to get HDMI to work. Suggestions? nvkush? nvinject? nothing? I cannot get much to work anymore. I don't need audio thru HDMI, just video. Please HELP! EDIT: I was using DVI, then I wanted to use HDMI... Now I can only use HD15 or DVI (1080) via safe mode. What the hell?
