07mackenzie
Hey everyone! My computer is an HP DV9000t laptop with: 2GB RAM 200 GB SATA Hard Drive Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz Nvidia 512MB 7600go graphics I just installed the Kalyway Mac Leopard on my computer (it boots alongside Vista and Ubuntu using GRUB) using these settings: Vanilla Kernel--both options (No SSE2 though) NVinject for Laptops Azalia Audio Guid EFI like i said, the bootloader and everything runs fine so I know thats not the problem. So once I select Mac Leopard in my GRUB menu, it loads correctly doing this: Grey mac screen with apple logo and loading circle thing for about 15-20 seconds Screen goes white for a few seconds, then goes a soft blue color for another few seconds and then goes black with a cursor at the top left corner of the screen and that's it. Nothing happens Any ideas? Thanks so much!
07mackenzie
Oh nvm, problem solved using -x at boot! Just a quick question though, QE is not enabled but the video resolution and everything runs well! Photobooth tells me it cannot run because my video card doesn't support it... So is there a different image I should try than the kalyway? Are there any good prepatched ones out there? Thanks
triptolemos
How did you fix the problem? (Since i am experiencing the same with a 7950GT )
-aKy-
i think QE gets disabled when using -x . Maybe your Display isn't detected properly. Does an external Monitor work? Or try a different driver for your Graphics Card.
