raphk
I've successfully installed osx on my p5e \o/. All is well, but my video card (under "about this mac") only displays 256mb of VRAM, instead of the actual 768. I have the drivers installed from DRMANDO's HOW-TO, I am able to use both my LCD's at full resolution. Any reason why this is? should I be using another kext package? or am I stuck this way? Any help would be appreacited! Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86415-kalyway-1051-nvidia-8800-gtx-768-help/ Share on other sites
MAX711
Do a search for "nvidia installer v1.9 by punk92.mpkg". Worked for my 8800GTX and Kalyway install. If that doesn't work, try searching for "NVInstallerV.31.pkg" If you have problems after installing either of the above, boot off your install DVD, open Terminal and move NVDAResman.kext to a backup folder, delete Extensions.mkext and reboot. Good luck. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86415-kalyway-1051-nvidia-8800-gtx-768-help/#findComment-614665 Share on other sites
