and the question is: The Leopard Kalyway it is compatible with that laptop (All Hardware Should be compatible (only sometihink not that i can to resolve))? (Dell XPS M1530)

i must this laptop performances because i work with Editing Video

I'm on Kalyway now, using XPS M1530.

There are several problems. I have never connected to Internet since my XPS is using Marvell Yukon 88E8040 Ethernet and Intel Wireless 3945abg...And sleeping,restarting and shutting down would end up in black screen with Bluetooth and power LED on...Have to perform a hard shut down...

However I am not sure if XPSes in all regions use same ethernet card

Io ho un xpsm1330 con iAktos 1.0 e va una scheggia...con la configurazione che hai scelto, nn ti funzionera` mai il wifi; il modulo intel nn gira...se prendi la soluzione wirelessN di dell, funziona out of the box...come dice il cinesino, shutdown/restart e sleep nn va, a meno che tu nn faccia una installazione con intel speedstep attivato, che pero` ti fa perdere la legittimita` del sistema verso apple...nel senso che, cosi` facendo, nn puoi scaricare gli aggiornamenti ufficiali via il loro software update, xke` praticamente avresti un sistema con il kernel taroccato...x l'audio ed il video, dovresti poi installare drivers prodotti da terze parti..nn va out of the box...indaga che processore audio monta il 1530; il mio ha un sigmatel 9228 se nn erro, e va soltanto l'audio dalle casse, niente cuffie...a seconda del processore(sono tutti sigmatel praticamente), potresti o nn potresti avere pieno supporto e funzionalita'....il video funzionera' perfettamente con i driver terze parti...e' anche probabile, che nel frattempo, quando il leopard 10.5.2 sara' fuori(questione di giorni ormai), il video e la gestione dell'energia(quindi shutdown etc.) verranno risolti...se guardi i miei post, trovi una guida passo passo x installarlo sull'm1330, che e' assolutamente identico a quello che vuoi prendere, solo con il monitor 13'' invece che 15''....il bluetooth va anche!
