anima322
JEAH me exactly too (the error.. not the system configuration^^) i just see the apple loading screen for 1 sec after having choosen mac os x from darwin bootloader. But i didnt try to install leopard without (!!) vanilla kernel (so it will just install default kernel). someone told me because the vanilla kernel is for core 2 duo and not for core duo (maybe..) and i ve got just an core duo! So try this method ... no customized installation just install... and then see... maybe you are a lucky one Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/85615-installation-passed-when-booting-goes-to-this-screen-then-reboots-again/#findComment-607871 Share on other sites

anima322
jeah i know therefore it is ok when you install vanilla kernel BUT you can also TRY it WITHOUT! you know what i ve meant? just try it without vanilla and maybe it works? Vanilla is good for core 2 duo but not necessary i think.... and we should try all possibilities, right? Korrupted
As far as I know, Nforce mobos can't run the vanilla kernel, so reinstall without the vanilla kernel chosen, and without the geforce kexts to avoid the kernel panics, and use Punk92's installer for graphics. muitommy
you should use the golden kernel and remove geforce.kext and nvresman.kext to avoid problems, check my signatures Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/85615-installation-passed-when-booting-goes-to-this-screen-then-reboots-again/#findComment-608106 Share on other sites
