I have the Asus M2N-SLI motherboard. It has C-Media CM6501 audio which works with Azalia (according to many others with the same board).

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.1#ASUS

I've installed the AzaliaAudio.pkg and rebooted several times and it does not seem to recognize the onboard sound. I tried editing the Info.plst and added the product and vendor id to it aswell.

For some reason it's not listed under Audio (built-in) in System Profiler, but under USB (even though it's onboard) as PnP Audio Device.

PnP Audio Device:

Version: 0.10

Bus Power (mA): 500

Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec

Product ID: 0x0201

Vendor ID: 0x0d8c

I double checked those IDs to make sure, and it is indeed the C-Media onboard sound that apparently works with Azalia kext. Any help would be appreciated :D

Yes... it shows up there in output as USB audio.. PnP Audio Device. I can move the sliders, etc. and adjust volume but there is no sound actually outputted. I'm pretty sure it doesn't actually output any sound because it's using the AppleUSBAudio kext for whatever reason by default and it's not even a USB device, however, AppleAzaliaAudio doesn't seem to recognize it at all.
