Ayanami
I'm looking for a decent codec to allow M4A playback in Windows Media Center on Windows Vista. Preferably one that will display correct album artwork, since I've spent much more time than I should making sure that every album has it right. And then, what's a good way to make WMC re-scan my Music folder, and add all the new music in? apowerr
I know that this codec package works with WMP10 and Media Center 2005. I'm not sure if it'll work with WMP11 and Vista though. Ayanami
M4a/Flac/Ogg/Ape/Mpc Tag Support Plugin forWindows Media Player & Media Center v 1.1 M4a/Flac/Ogg/Ape/Mpc Tag Support Plugin add support for various additional audio files tag formats into Microsoft Media Player v10 and Windows Media Center 2005. This plugin allow you to use in Media Player or Media Center 2005 popular audio formats like m4a files from your iPod/iTunes, Flac, Ogg, Monkey's Audio (ape), Wav Pack (wv), Optim Frog etc. System requirements: Windows with Windows Media Player version 10 or Windows Media Center Edition 2005. You also need to have additional formats Direct Show filters installed, so Media Player can play your files (i.e. before installing this plugin Media Player should play your ogg, m4a, etc. files). I actually have this on my computer, but I'm missing something with the "Direct Show" thing. There's some links at the bottom, but I can't find anything about it on 3ivx's site....
