I try to boot the DVD and after it loads the kexts (I booted with a -v tag) it reboots. How do I install this wild cat. More specs in my sig, please help, I really would love to try leopard!!Sorry, I really don't like to post x2 but bump! TunedFish
iAtkos v1.0ir2 (10.5.1) or ToH x86 9A581rc2 (10.5) both worked for me sse2, as did JaS 10.4.8. The Kalyway 10.5.1 ISO disk did the same thing on my 845glly board. I didn't try the ZIP version. Which did you try? shah123
I had the same problem. Try with the patched kernels (do not select vanilla kernel and the patch during installation in the customize menu) The patched kernels solved the problem for me. ChildInTheWoods
Same problem for me. I'm posting this from my 10.4.6 JaS Hackintosh, which works like a dream (really) on genuine Intel board 945PSTN, Pentium 4 3.2GHz, 1.5GB Kingston DDR2 RAM, ATI x1600 patched with BorisBadenov, 200GB SATA. Been running for almost a year. I think the Kalyway ISO I downloaded from piratebay is not so good - beware the latest torrents. I tried burning it on about 4 different DVDs at different burn speeds, incl DVDRW. Perhaps the seed is bad? Maybe someone had a similar problem and cares to share? romey-rome
This is definately starting to look like a trend among non Core Duo owners. Vanilla doesn't seem to cut it. My thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=86845 Think it's time for an E8400 for me.
